Highlights

These are stories from women in their own words that were submitted to me by women that are part of my informal network of contacts.

First story is about lack of support and discouragement from family members. What can we learn from this? Don't be afraid to take chances. Believe in yourself, and don't let anyone discourage you. It is often the people closest to us that are the most discouraging.

The second story is about women having trouble having confidence in their abilities because of they are aware of the things they don't know. My advise? NEVER fear what you don't know. Nobody knows EVERYTHING! The most valuable skill in technology is the ability to learn fast and on the fly.
